# Build the matrix for one system

Answer for one AI system. The check builds the method and capability grid your answers create, counts the cells that still need evidence, and returns at least three dated actions. Nothing leaves this page. A blank submit, or an answer recorded as not sure, returns scope incomplete rather than a pass.

Which method families are present in this system?
Tick every family the system actually uses. A hybrid system usually needs more than one.

 Traditional AI
Rules, search and optimisation written by people rather than learned from data. Symbolic AI
Knowledge representation, ontologies, logic and reasoning over symbols. Machine learning
Models whose behaviour is fitted from data, including statistical and neural models. Hybrid AI
More than one family combined in one system, including learned components beside rules or reasoning. Not sure
We have not characterised the method yet.

Which capability groups does this system claim?
Tick the groups a user would recognise. Leave out what the system does not do.

 Sensory input processing
Taking in images, sound, text, signals or other observations. Knowledge processing
Storing, retrieving, relating or inferring over knowledge. Action control processing
Choosing or steering actions, including plans, actuators and tool calls. Communication processing
Producing or interpreting language and other messages for people or agents. Emergent behaviour
Behaviour that appears when several components or systems coordinate capabilities. Not sure
We have not characterised the capability yet.

## What the reading is, and is not

It is a reading of ten answers against the public structure of the draft. It names the cells your claim creates, the cells that still need evidence and a dated action list. It is not a maturity score, an audit or a compliance result. The product does not certify, and no answer is sent anywhere.

## Why some answers return scope incomplete

An unanswered question, or an answer recorded as not sure, returns scope incomplete and names the question. The engine does not default an unknown to the lighter pathway, because a matrix built on an unknown is worse than no matrix.

## What happens to the answers

They stay in this browser tab. There is no account, no server call and no analytics event carrying an answer. A completed reading adds its actions to the plan, which is kept in this browser's local storage under a key named for this product.
